Using sprites doesn't do much for gameplay, but they enhance the feel of the game by looking more realistic. All they are is a different style crosshair. Both normal sprites and zoomed-in sprites are available. Some of them also make it easier to see the crosshair on certain backgrounds. This sprite is ingenious. I can't get over its wonderous splendor. And guess who made it. Our very own... Acidjed! I had to post this one first because of how great it is. I've got more from him too. It is called "Acidjed" in the download pack. |

This is another sweet sprite by
Jed. Its called "Acidjed7" in the pack and looks great in-game. This screenshot does it no justice due to the transfer from .bsp to .gif. |
Here is another of
Acidjed's sprites. It's one of my favorites, but like the one above, was mangled terribly in the picture format transfer. Try it out in game. You won't be disappointed. This sprite is called "Acidjed8" in the pack. |

There
are actually five more sprites of Acidjed's in the
pack. However, only pictures
for three were available. All
the other sprites are just
as cool. Just rename any of these
files as "ch_sniper.spr" and
"ch_sniper2.spr" to make
them your crosshairs. These
should be put in the
"Cstrike/Sprites" folder.
These two sprites are ones
that I've made. I like the sniper
one, and
the normal crosshair is the only one we have for a
non-zoom
sprite. The un-zoomed one got really molested in
the tranfer,
but it looks better in-game. Again, rename the
big one
"ch_sniper.spr" and "ch_sniper2.spr", and the
small
one should be named "crosshairs.spr". Also put these
in the
"Cstrike/Sprites" folder.
